This one-day course has been broken into two parts. The morning session is designed for those people needing to become more familiar with the basic functions of an iPad, set up and uses in the classroom. The afternoon session will focus more of the most useful apps to use across different curriculum areas.
Morning Session - iPad 101 – Learning About the iPad
• iPad tips, adapters, iPad features and privacy issues
• The Cloud and iPads.
• How iPads are set up in schools, classroom and student management of iPads.
Afternoon Session iPad 201 – The Best Education iPad Apps
• Best apps for Primary & Secondary: ECE, LOTE, Maths, English, Science and S&E (40+ apps).
• Teaching ideas and iPads as a tool for teachers and assessment.
Please note. If you are familiar with the basic functions of the iPad, you are able to register in Part Two of this course only. Please see separate registration form on this website for afternoon session attendance only.
Participants will leave the workshop with:
