This two-day course is designed for TAFE Union Representatives, Deputy Representatives and TAFE Committee members including JCC and STERC.
The training will provide fundamental knowledge and skills around the current TAFE Agreement and relevant campaign messages. You will explore the current Log of Claims. Hear an update from the President and the SSTUWA Campaign Project Officer around the Public Sector Alliance and other Federal Campaigns.
Please note:
SSTUWA may fund travel and accommodation expenses for currently elected representatives outside the metropolitan area. Each regional application will be assessed by the Education and Training Centre Coordinator for funding approval. All flight and accommodation bookings will be made by the SSTUWA upon approval of your travel request. We will be in contact with you once the event has been confirmed based on the minimum number requirements. Please do not book your own flights.

Members in TAFE colleges are eligible for five days of paid leave per year to attend trade union training (TUT).
