The State School Teachers’ Union of WA (SSTUWA) continues to provide Early Childhood Educators with opportunities to develop effective industrial and professional practice, understandings and knowledge.
The SSTUWA invites school leaders and early childhood teachers to join the afternoon forum to learn with School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) Early Childhood Consultants Kristy Howson and Rose Smith.
Join us for an afternoon session to learn more about V2.0 of the EYLF which is mandated for implementation from 1 Feb 2024 up to and including Year 2.
The revised Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 contains three new principles, updated practices and the strengthened connections to the NQS. In this session, we will cover:

Members in schools and TAFE colleges are eligible for five days of paid leave per year to attend trade union training (TUT).
To comply with TUT leave requirements applicants must:
The school will not be charged for the salary of the person attending trade union training - this is covered by the DoE. However, if a relief teacher is required, this is funded through the school's one line budget.
