In 2022 The State School Teacher's Union of Western Australia commissioned an independent review into public education in WA. The main findings of that review will be shared with School Leaders from Regional Areas only on Friday 8 December. Regionally-based Principals and Deputy Principals, are invited to attend this forum to find out the main findings, the recommendations and ways to move forward with the recent Public Education Review.
The aim of the review was to examine the current state of public education in WA, identify structural issues within the system and recommend practical solutions. The process included the receipt of over 100 written submissions from individuals and peak bodies, along with a statewide series of public meetings and face-to-face consultations.
The findings of this review will have ramifications for students in the public education system. If as a regional school leader member, you are interested in finding out more, register today for this information session - Facing the Facts.
The session will be conducted by Matt Jarman, SSTUWA President and recently appointed SSTUWA School Leader Consultant, Lindsay Hale. The session will be via ZOOM.

We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We wish to pay respect to their Elders - past, present and future - and acknowledge the important role all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within Australia. We stand in solidarity.
