The SSTUWA Executive have endorsed a support package for cyclone affects members.

The SSTUWA Seroja Assistance Package is available to members who have been financially affected by Tropical Cyclone Seroja either because they work at a school in the affected area (see list below) and/or they reside within these school areas.

The SSTUWA Seroja Assistance Package is a $500 one off payment created under the SSTUWA Disaster Relief Fund to support members who suffer professional or personal costs due to a natural disaster.

To be eligible, you need to work or live in one of the affected areas and meet other criteria. 
Areas affected include:

  • Binnu
  • Chapman Valley
  • Kalbarri
  • Mingenew
  • Morawa
  • Northampton
  • Perenjori
  • Three Springs
  • WA College of Agriculture, Morawa

On receipt, each application will be addressed for eligibility, and you will be advised of the outcome. When apporved SSTUWA will make payment to the nominated bank account on file. Where we do not have an account on file, we will be in contact.
