As we settle into 2023 and the introduction of Free in 2023 it is timely that we visit the impact this is having on class sizes, along with other factors.

Understanding Employment Law Frameworks for TAFE Lecturers (TUT)
Thursday 6 April, 9am - 4.30pm
The course will outline the employment law framework and will include information around common law, legislation, awards and agreements and where TAFE sits in the Industrial Relations System.
You will meet and work with the SSTUWA Legal Services Team and learn about what they do including the role of advocates and case managers. Know what legal services the SSTUWA offers to members and how to access them.
We invite regional and metro, 2023 elected union and deputy representatives, committee members and branch JCCs to register for this exciting opportunity. Funding for accommodation and travel will be considered for regional delegates.
