Committee nominees sought

If you want to make a contribution in areas of education and the SSTUWA that are of particular interest to you, why not join the relevant committee?

Nominations are called for the following committees:

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Committee
• Early Childhood Educators Committee
• LGBTIQ+ Committee
• New Educators Committee
• School Leaders Committee
• TAFE Committee
• Women’s Committee

Review sessions

Public sessions of our commissioned review into the health of the public education system are underway. There has been considerable regional media interest in the process. You can read the media release here.

We are travelling across WA to hear from school and TAFE educators, parents and community leaders.

Many members have already made written submissions. If you wish to add one you can find the process here, along with a full list of the public sessions and links for registration.

Reps and members can also download a poster advertising the review to print and display at their workplace.
