Thank you to all members who completed our survey on COVID related curriculum delivery. The SSTUWA encourages teachers and school to use the resources from the Department of Education when planning for remote teaching in the event of students having to isolate for seven days (which will only be 5 school days).
Online Learning Events for New or Aspiring Leaders (K-TAFE)
A series of 3-hour online Zoom events are on offer throughout the holiday periods in 2022. Each event is designed for teachers who are aspiring to or have just been appointed to their first leadership role.
This includes substantive or acting Head of Learning Areas (HoLA), Level 3 Classroom Teachers, Year Level Coordinators, Subject Coordinators or Deputies.
The sessions will cover the skills required when moving into a formal leadership position in a school or college. Choose one session or join us for all four events over the year.
