The SSTUWA has reached an Agreement in Principle (AIP) with the employer in regard to the 2021 Schools General Agreement negotiations. This AIP must now be ratified by a vote of the full membership. Executive Directives regarding current industrial actions are therefore lifted while this takes place.
Details of the proposed Agreement will be available online from 2 May. Hard copies of these materials will also be mailed to all schools.
A series of workplace briefings will be held from 2 May. These will be either face to face meetings with organisers and/or Senior Officers or via Zoom. These are currently being arranged. Your workplace organiser and reps will supply details as they are finalised. Details of briefings will also be online when available.
The membership ballot will open on 30 May and close on 17 June.
