SSTUWA member Lorena Bengough pictured in the first row, far right joins a list of union women who have participated in the annual Anna Stewart Memorial Project, affectionately called Annas.
The East Butler Primary School teacher joined 11 other women, from different WA unions, for the week-long project, which honours former Victorian union official Anna Stewart, who died in 1983.
For five days participants learnt about industrial issues affecting women, unionism and how being a union delegate can achieve positive outcomes for females in the workplace.
