Safe Work October 2015 is fast approaching. This year the national theme is Be safe. Be healthy. WorkSafe wants you and your workplace to focus on safety and think about why safety and health is important.
Ideas for school-based activities:
Create an Occupational Safety and Health noticeboard – you can download posters or create your own poster by using our template and your own images.
Have a five minute focus session on OSH.
Get students to help you carry out a safety inspection of the your workplace.
Register your school on the Worksafe website
Plan an event and register it with WorkSafe. Events registered by 28 September will be in the draw to win two tickets to a Safety and Health Workshop event of your choice.
