The WA Union movement in no way supports or endorses the use of Solidarity Park for the Reclaim Australia Rally to be held on the 19th of July.
Solidarity Park is a place of special significance to the WA union movement, particularly because it includes memorial to workers who have died at work.
WA unions condemns the attempts of other groups to misappropriate union symbolism by using Solidarity Park and the Eureka flag.
There is no place in Western Australia for discrimination or racism and WA unions believe in equality, tolerance and fairness. We reject racism and discrimination in all forms.

We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We wish to pay respect to their Elders - past, present and future - and acknowledge the important role all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within Australia. We stand in solidarity.
