Senior teacher 2: ST2

A Senior Teacher (ST) currently receives $117,854 gross salary. A new classification is being introduced, and a Senior Teacher 2 (ST2) will receive a salary of $125,247* from 2023. They will be required to perform two senior teacher duties, which could include implementing workload reduction initiatives. In 2025, the ST2 salary will increase to $134,165*, a 13.84* per cent increase from the current ST level.

The five different pathways that are currently in place to become a senior teacher will now be embedded into the Agreement.
