Level 3.3 classroom teacher: L3.3

An L3 classroom teacher demonstrates exemplary practice and shares their expertise with other teachers in a school. A proposed trial would allow a L3.1 or L3.2 classroom teacher to undertake a newly created position of a L3.3 classroom teacher at identified schools in need.

The host school will provide the level 3.3 teachers with additional time to undertake duties and professional learning. This is an opportunity to get the most accomplished teachers into schools and provide additional support to a group of schools based on need.

A L3.3 classroom teacher would receive $147,077 in 2025. This is an increase of $21,227, or 16.87 per cent, from the current L3.2 classification, over the life of the Agreement.
